Expressions of Interest – Primary Care Network GP Post (For Recently Qualified GPs)

Posted on:

We are committed to our vision of “Creating Healthier Connected Communities”.

It is our mission to transform primary care delivery in a sustainable way by a commitment to excellence in everything we do and by working in partnership with our patients, communities and colleagues to have positive impact on health and well-being.

Chorley Roads Primary Care Network is an NHS collaboration between 5 GP Practices:

· Cornerstone Surgery

· Dalefield Surgery

· Heaton Medical Centre

· Spring House Surgery

· Wyresdale Road Surgery

An experienced team, supported by the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme, works alongside a full complement of clinical and support staff, providing comprehensive assistance to our friendly GPs

We operate modified GP telephone triage using Emis & TPP SystmOne with excellent IT provision and support.

We operate a highly efficient GP triage system within our Primary Care Network. Our team excels at signposting the wide range of available resources, allowing our GPs to work confidently and with peace of mind

We have low home visiting rates and non-onerous duty surgeries along with much higher levels of clinician autonomy for the working day than strict appointment-based systems.

We are welcoming expressions of interest from newly qualified GPs who might be interested in the new Primary Care Network (PCN) Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). NHS England is due to release the details of this scheme in October.

Please send expressions of interest, including your CV, to PCN Manager Victoria Westwood at [email protected]
